Keith and his team started the company over sixteen years ago, back when there was basically no video on the internet. There was no YouTube and no streaming yet. The only way to consume video online was via a flash player on a PC. As video began to proliferate, his company was a pioneer in measurement of performance. Since online video was new, performance was key to success, and that performance needed to be measured. They came up with ways to analyze metrics like quality of experience, quality of service, resolution and join time to provide publishers with data that could help them improve their performance to get more views. He has seen the creation of Netflix as a streaming service, the rise of Disney as a video powerhouse, and the creation of subscription video on demand (SVOD) and transaction video on demand (TVOD).
